The Product Marketing Manager, APIs sits in a unique position pivoting between product, sales and marketing. The desired candidate believes in the power of marketing and insights to introduce people and businesses to technologies and services that will enable them to build relationships and be awesome with the people that matter most.

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and optimization of marketing strategies, tactics & programs for FullContact’s suite of APIs. This role is responsible for owning the marketplaces, exchanges and integrations necessary to increase the use of our APIs.

Being able to read, assess and act upon analytics is key in driving continued results. Additionally, the Product Marketing Manager must have the interpersonal skills to work closely with the Marketing, Product, Customer Success and Sales teams.

This position reports to the Director of Product Marketing and is based at our global headquarters in Denver, Colorado. 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deep understanding our products, buyers, competitors and markets to develop messaging, positioning and campaign strategies.
  • Determine the appropriate methods and metrics for measuring and monitoring marketing effectiveness across customer lifecycles.
  • Manage, update and track the API listings on various directories, marketplaces, exchanges and other relevant sites.
  • Work closely with Product to conceptualize, build and execute effective go-to-market campaigns aimed at driving adoption, conversion, and ongoing engagement with FullContact APIs.
  • Create targeted messaging and positioning documents and for customer communications based on the key value propositions and target audiences.
  • Create, launch, and analyze new programs and promotions to encourage adoption and drive revenue, including A/B testing new channels, messaging, creative, etc.
  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of APIs and Integrations
  • Own the FullContact.com marketplace for data enrichment integrations and drive quarter over quarter traffic growth to the site.
  • Work closely with the Product team to support QA and usability testing initiatives around integrations.
  • Work with Product and Lifecycle Marketing to holistically optimize the self-serve developer portal and on-boarding experience.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS required in Marketing or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of highly relevant experience in software technology marketing.
  • Early stage product/ start-up experience; ability to pivot and change as the company rapidly grows.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills, and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses.
  • Track record of meeting tight deadlines and prioritizing workloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • Track record of developing and implementing new ideas and creative solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication & presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail, organized, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • History of teamwork and willingness to take an all hands on deck approach to get the job done.
