  • We intend to grow our global person graph and develop various value propositions resulting in dramatic growth of its consented and claimed individual profiles.  In parallel, we are focused on generating a virtual census of US residents with multiple dimensions of data from and about each resident at home and at work.
  • We intend to acquire a device graph that allows the Company to identify and reach each consumer on every digital device they use.


The VP of Product Position

  • The VP of Product will be responsible for leading the development, implementation and successful management of FullContact’s identity, data, analytic and activation products.  This individual is expected to bring a highly developed knowledge of the data-driven digital marketing ecosystem and how to build products and capabilities that are embraced by enterprise digital marketers.  This includes the understanding of the evolving and unmet needs of companies who must market smarter to compete in this age of fragmented, always on, consumer-in-control marketing, as well as, the companies we will compete with, partner with, sell to, and potentially acquire.
  • The VP of Product will provide leadership to a Product Group capable of delivering on the Company’s aggressive product goals.  As a key member of the leadership team, this individual will own the product roadmap. Success will be measured not only in strategic and profitable growth but in hiring/developing high impact talent and embracing/furthering the cultural fabric of a rewarding data and technology company.
  • While managing the inherent organizational change that comes with a fast growth digital marketing company, the VP of Product will be an executive partner to their Engineering and Go-To-Market peers.  This individual will be constantly active in the market and will assure the voice of the customer permeates development priorities, go-to-market strategy, packaging, positioning and pricing strategies.  The VP of Product will be active in providing field support to present our capabilities and help develop and convert high value brands. Through thoughtful recommendations to build, buy and align resources, the VP of Product will assure FullContact’s market competitiveness in delivering value for each client.

  • This role will balance capabilities to build a high performing team with the ability to build market-leading data-driven solutions, while also collaborating as a member of the executive team across all strategic initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate will bring the following skills and attributes to this role:
  • Market Knowledge – The VP of Product will bring a systematic process for understanding the data/digital landscape and SaaS business models, including the knowledge of customer needs and current/emerging competitors and partners.  The voice of the customer is essential in the design, development and ongoing management of each product’s lifecycle.
  • Technical Leadership – The VP of Product will lead product management and will drive development in partnership with engineering.  Experience and success in enterprise platform development and integration, cloud computing, the business intelligence and big data domains. This individual will obsess over product quality and user experience to make our products exceed customer quality and ROI expectations.
  • Commercial Acumen – The VP of Product will be working with the CEO, COO and the cross-functional executive team in developing the strategic product roadmap.  Bringing compelling data-driven products to market that perform for our customers and assisting with large customer/prospect opportunities will be essential to the Company’s success and that of the product leader.
  • Operations - Delivering high-quality products with predictable results.  With a breadth of operational experience across product management and engineering, the VP of Product will be expected to hire the best and execute with precision. This individual must have a strong history of driving accountability into the organization along with the knowledge that will allow him/her to measure the profitable growth of our products, including identifying, tracking and reporting on key product metrics and customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management – budget management, from trade-offs and prioritization of resources to pricing and staff allocation, the VP of Product will be required to have a strong financial ability to absorb, understand, and make informed decisions that are best for both the organization and the Company.  
  • Strategy – A strategic mindset around digital data products and business intelligence is essential.  Working with the CEO, COO and company leadership, the VP of Product will help develop and refine key value propositions associated with our products and expand into new products.  The VP of Product will be very active in executive discussions that define objectives to gain market share and maximize profitability, and then execute plans to make those objectives achievable.  S/he will work closely with Sales/Marketing/Customer Success (to understand customer needs and revenue opportunities) and Engineering (to understand trade-offs, level of effort, and milestones), defining clear areas of focus, roadmap themes, and success metrics.  
  • Communications – A strong two-way communicator, the VP of Product will seek input from key stakeholders and will provide regular communications to the Company on key product initiatives, product status, and market results.  S/he will be a voice for the company at key industry and company events will be a presenter at conferences, webinars and key customer meetings to assure the company’s product messaging and positioning is understood and embraced.

  • Ability to recruit, lead, manage and develop a team of product managers that generate a regular cadence of releases and update cycles
  • Deep understanding of technical complexity and ability to translate it into simple terms
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to engage large audiences


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience, Master’s preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience leading Product Management teams. Specifically, experience managing a data product portfolio across consumers, businesses, and developers
  • Previous experience scaling a company from early stage to $100M in revenue
  • Previous experience overseeing Product responsibilities for M&A efforts
  • International business and management experience
