Senior Front End Engineer, CX

The Role

Be a founding member of the Customer Experience (CX) team as an experienced Senior Front End Engineer. The CX team’s mission is to embody FullContact’s Core Value of Customer Obsession and deliver high quality, delightful experience for our partners and customers. As a founding member on this CX team, you have the unique opportunity to help blaze new trails and take our existing solutions to the next level.

In this role, you’ll collaboratively work on-site with our Director of CX in Denver and partner with our awesome FullContact India Engineering team to build out solutions at a startup pace. You’ll balance the autonomy required for rapid-fire iteration, with global collaboration to build shared components and unified experiences. As part of this role, you will work closely with the Head of Engineering in India to help shape and construct this architecture and will have opportunities to travel globally.

What You’ll Do

  • Help form our CX team in the US with the likelihood of expanding the US team
  • Rapidly build out both POCs and full-scale User Experience solutions 
  • Work with the Director of UX to help shape the design of the Customer Experience
  • Collaborate with the Head of India Engineering and engineering teams on solutions and architectures
  • Leverage strong communication skills to work with global teams
  • Occasional travel abroad to forge global relationships (1 - 2 opportunities/year)
  • Debug backend systems and contribute feedback and solutions

What the Team Does

  • Work at a startup pace to quickly ship and iterate on designs
  • Solidify our Developer Dashboard experience for customers and partners
  • Build out internal UIs and dashboards for account management and customer support
  • Work with support teams to integrate with APIs and backend data sources
  • Build out shareable components to be used by future developers
  • Account for quality and security in all development

Necessary Skills

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience building UIs
  • 2+ years in a Lead capacity
  • Deep understanding and experience developing in Front End technologies
  • JavaScript, React (ClojureScript, reagent & reframe is our current stack but not required skill)
  • Experience working with backend technologies and able to debug systems
  • Java, Clojure, Python, MySQL, Mongo, Druid (bonus points)
  • Moderate experience working with exposing and transforming data into charts and graphs
  • Basic Linux experience - CLI tools, scripting
  • Git and AWS familiarity
  • DevOps mindset and capability to build a deployment pipeline
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
