This highly visible role which spans strategy and hands-on content development will be instrumental in shaping our company narrative.  It will combine your data industry knowledge and your expertise in developing and implementing a content strategy that captivates and drives engagement with our audiences of customers, partners, analysts and influencers across multiple channels and platforms.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years creating content for B2B audiences in the data industry.

Out of state candidates are welcome to apply, however no relocation assistance is offered for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop deep understanding of our products, customers and use cases
  • Develop, write, source and edit long- and short-form content including website copy, articles, blogs, white papers, brochures, social posts, public relations materials.
  • Develop a video content strategy for FullContact
  • Create distribution strategy to maximize content impact across channels and personas
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (including designers, product marketing, sales, and external influencers) to produce compelling, targeted content
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels
  • Convince others that your creative ideas are worth investing time and effort in. This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every single day
  • Be passionate about using to data understanding the impact of your work, establishing benchmarks for content effectiveness and always looking to exceed targets
  • Evaluate existing workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content
  • Demonstrate experience and skill in appraising and selecting external vendors to augment internal content efforts

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, public relations or related communications field
  • Strong experience creating content for B2B audiences, preferably in the SaaS market, ideally in the Data market
  • 10+ years’ experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, SlideShare, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Past experience building online audiences
  • Experience and comfort working with and selecting external vendors
  • Experience mentoring a small content team
  • Demonstrable knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics, showing alignment between content creation and website growth objectives
  • Hands-on experience using a marketing automation platform to manage content distribution (Autopilot specifically a plus)
  • Fluency in web analytics tools, social media marketing applications, PR tools and leading social media monitoring platforms
  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and use data to make decisions
