Job description

FullContact is seeking an experienced Services Manager to help in scaling it’s Services organization.  The role will have two primary areas of accountability.  First, this will be a lead role in a small but nimble team here at FullContact.  The role will include both oversight and guidance of other Data Analyst resources as well as direct hands-on analytical work and deliverable creation.  The expectation of this role is to bring a strong business acumen and deepen the team’s ability to tell stories through data.  Second, the role will have an operating role in various PMO functions including triage, prioritization of demand and creating operational reporting for project status and throughput across the team.  You will be a part of our Client Services function which supports a range of products and services FullContact provides to large organizations.  The primary functions and industries of focus include Marketing and Customer Service applications across a range of industries.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers and understand customer goals and objectives
  • Assist other Data Analysts in analyzing and identifying compelling insights for customers
  • Both be a guide and help construct customer deliverables that tell compelling business stories
  • Analyze data utilizing a varied set of analytical tools (Business Intelligence reporting tools, SQL, spreadsheets, etc.)
  • Create and deliver presentations and reports to clients on insights derived from the analysis
  • Operate various functions of a PMO process for growing portfolio of Services customers including both onshore and offshore resources
  • Participate in a range of client engagement types including sales support, proof of concepts & pilots, standard SaaS engagements and one-off consulting projects
  • Work closely with FullContact’s Data and Engineering teams to deliver on client needs
  • Be a versatile player in startup organization helping to create new service offerings and applications of data
  • Be an advisor to and trusted partner with our clients

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thought processes
  • Solid understanding of and comfort with customer data
  • Experience with Marketing & CRM analytics, tools and strategies in B2C context
  • Experience in the Marketing data and Marketing systems ecosystem
  • Excellent customer service & communication abilities
  • Past experience managing of and being a mentor to other teammates
  • Ability to find insights and tell stories through the use of data
  • Ability to make professional presentations telling stories from data in PowerPoint and prose
  • Previous experiences with databases, data models, SQL, spreadsheets, and Business Intelligence tools
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university required

Value Added Skills and Experience

  • Consulting experience - focused on large enterprises
  • Experience with ETL tools (esp. Pentaho) and/or with Tableau
  • Ability to show past work product on presentations and/or writing for business
